Landscape Technician

Hawks Landscape seeks 10 construction technicians/segmental pavers temp/ft from 4/1/20-1/1/21 in Washington, Milwaukee, and Waukesha, WI counties. Pay: $19.93 reg.; $29.90 ot if applicable. 1 yr exp. Req’d. Will assist foreman to complete hardscape jobs. Removals, excavation, and prep for new installs. Run equipment including but not limited to skid steers, mini excavators, and compaction equip.If foreman needs the tech to be in the skid steer he will need to be able to run it.  Able to take directions. Tear outs, excavations, and soil preps for installation. Set grades grades and foundations. Requires knowledge of the proper aggregate placements and depths, and compaction techniques.  Assist foreman in shooting grades to achieve proper pitch and drainage.  Tech assists the foreman in laying out modular concrete pavers and block, concrete, or natural stone.  Wet cutting with either a hand held saw or table saw is necessary.  Continuously move, and stack block. Grading and planting.  Ability to not only dig holes for the plant material, but understand proper planting.  Rake out topsoil.  Site preparation, cleanup, and professionalism.  Emplyr provides all equip/tools at no charge to employee. M-F 8:00-4:00 expected, but weather/project dependent. Pmt at least once every 2 wks; single week used for computing Emplyr makes req’d deductions from checks. Emplyr reimburses in 1 wk all visa, visa process, border crossing related fees as req’d. Transpt prov’d or cost reimbursed if worker completes ½ emplymnt period. Return transpt prov’d if emplymnt period is completed or dismissed early by emplyr. Daily sustenance rate of $12.46 – $55.00 w/ receipts.
